You can never be too sentimental when it comes to your wedding day. As Elyse and I talked through the details of she and Benji's big day I began to realize all the hard work they had put into making every element of their wedding day unique and personal. From the bike Benji had bought Elyse as a gift being used as the welcome piece to their own personal chess set displayed for guest entertainment, almost everything at their wedding had a personal application to their lives. Benji & Elyse are coffee lovers, so they treated their guests to a coffee station with his and hers blends of their favorite brews and there wasn't a minute of the reception that the coffee station didn't have a line!  As their day of coordinator I was given boxes of decorations and 3 big buckets (yes, 3) of greenery to use to bring Elyse's wedding day vision to life. Her overall decor vision was to use copper accents, a blend of neutral and bold colors and LOTS of greenery to create simple centerpieces that would perfectly compliment their chic lakeside wedding theme. With the addition of market lights and a beautiful Lakeland night sky the night was romantic and relaxing for all guests. Elyse and her bridesmaids worked hard to make the eucalyptus bridesmaids bouquets and boutonnieres themselves the night before the wedding, and they perfectly accented Elyse's large statement bouquet from The Flower Cart. The ceremony and cocktail hour took place at the Loggia down by the water with the reception at Kryger Park above the gates. There was not a dry eye in sight when Benji surprised Elyse during their reception with a special song he had written to her for their wedding day as he sang and played guitar. The couple and their guests danced the night away to the music of their live 3 piece band who kept the dance floor full and the vibes good throughout the night!
